Negatives
- *a study by UBC (a university) shows that people who use cosmetics primary use them for emotional reasons because when company's advertise cosmetics they show pictures of unusual perfect woman and they make the people who see them feel ugly because they are not as beautiful as the photoshopped woman. This causes them to buy the product and the company makes more money.
- *the workers in factory's can suffer from forced labour, unsafe work conditions, low wags, worker abuse and excessive working hours. Why? Because the company's don't realise that the workers have feelings too, sweatshops are cheaper and all they worry about is making money.
- Some people buy lots of expensive cosmetics and waste important money that they could be using on more essential items like food. The companies make the cosmetics expensive so they can receive more income.
